Pinning Erosion Blanket or Geotextile Fabric, U shape staples stakes pins is one of the fastest most efficient means of securing erosion control matting, geotextile fabric, mulch netting and sod ever developed. 

It is generally suggested that a 150mm U Pin is used for relatively firm compacted soils and the longer 300mm U Pin is used for pinning through loose topsoil.
